What to do when you take Gateway:
1) First, read the questions and find what the MAIN TOPIC is.
2) Second, turn the page and look at the documents. Write in your notes just 1
sentence describing each document & how it relates to your main topic.
3) Third, go back to the 1st page and read the "Historical Background."
4) Fourth, read the question again and brainstorm.
5) Fifth, start the thesis statement + intro, then write the rest of your essay!
