   What's good!?  So, today we started out by (ASSIGNMENT!) defining the following words in our "Vocabulary Windows" ...

• Monarchy, Persecution, Democracy, Parliament

   Then, we watched a video clip from the movie Captain Blood, which depicted Dr. Blood getting  arrested  for bandaging the wounds of a man who fought against the evil King James II (the Catholic king of England who persecuted his people.)
